I found out that by making Peaches take all the hard courses that I set her up for nothing but college and that this is bad. I was told that I only made her stay in school an extra semester to get child support from her dad who is now playing victim. His wife is messed up-- she has an obsessive-manic personality and went off on drugs, shopping, etc. and Peaches is understandably stressed over him. I understand. On my birthday she was wanting to tell me but I was in no shape to be dealing with anyone. I am ticked that she wanted to tell me on my birthday. Such is life.
I have too much to worry about for now. . .

Well, since the middle part of Elementary school I didn't let my parents to interfere to my studies drastically. They were kind of advisors but the decisions were made by me. It was difficult sometimes but I could stand it. How old is she? (Sorry but I always get confused by so many kids) Was she thinking that I am a dancing General? :) That comment of her made me smile.
Like Ropi, my parents let me take school at my own pace, so I stayed in honors though my teachers wanted me in AP.
Wishing you all the best in the family situation. I didn't know you had a blended family.
Ah-- blended, but I gave birth to each one!
You had honors and AP? WE have either one of or the other in the high schools in my area.
Hehe, right, but I couldn't think of the word to describe that.
Yes...we had both in high school. Maybe it's because it was the second best school district in Texas?
